Spending the 4th of July in the mountains is one of my VERY favorite things to do in the summertime.
There’s just something about being in cooler temps and a small town that make ya feel so cozy, huh?
We took our annual family pics outside of the cabin before heading down the mountain to Cedar City.

Per tra-dish, we ate breakfast at the Downtown Diner…
Seating the kids at their own separate table was pretty genius on our part.
The kids caught candy at the parade afterwards…
I was afraid that they might be ‘too old’ for the parade festivities this year but NOPE…they were catching candy and getting sprayed with water guns like the best of em!
We headed back up the mountain afterwards to hang at the Brianhead Ski Resort.
The kids LOVE racing each other down the hills each year.
We ate footlong corndogs for lunch.
I mean, does it really get any more American
than a footlong corndog?!
Once we made it back to the cabin for the evening, the boys spent the rest of the night watching “Stranger Things”.
{I’m totally not interested}.

Our friends own and were working at the Korny Dog place where you got your foot long corn dogs. Good huh?
