Lifestyle Blog

This Weekend:

July 30, 2018 | Uncategorized

* Friday morning breakfast.
MY FAVE!
{Also – why don’t they put sesame seeds on BOTH the top AND bottom of the bagel? I feel like I get jipped.}

* I headed over to my parents house afterwards to type up some more of my Grandpa’s WW2 letters.

These letters HAVE MY HEART!
I wish I could spend ALL DAY// EVERY DAY typing them up.

* Afterschool slushies with friends…

…because it was something like 115 degrees outside.
{I wish I were exaggerating.}

* Picked up Cubby from his grooming appointment.
Why is he so handsome?
And why am I so obsessed?

* Date night with fun friends HERE.
Their Flying Saucer is where it’s at.

We tried a new dessert spot just a few doors down, afterwards.

Yummy churros – – anyway you want em!
DEE-lish!
{The vanilla glaze was my fave.}

* Saturday morning the boys headed to the temple with their church youth group.
Joe is their leader which makes it pretty fun for all 3 of them.
* London and I ran errands and then met friends for lunch at Blue 32.
Just in case you weren’t aware….

Scrunchies are back in.
FOR. reals.

* Churchey-church on Sunday.

Carson gave his first ever talk in Sacrament meeting and pretty much knocked it outta the park.
I was so proud of him.

My dad has been in the hospital all weekend {pneumonia👎} and so we headed up there afterwards so he could hear Carson’s talk from his hospital bed.

* Chicken Fajitas for dinner…

….and then while the boys were at another church meeting, London and I watched the movie 13 Going On 30 {for the first time ever!}  So darling.  Gosh, I love Jennifer Garner.

    A churro cafe?? How do we not have this in California??? I hope your dad has a speedy recovery. Pneumonia is no fun and very scary with family members.
