* Friday morning I baked and cleaned the house.
It’s a good thing we occasionaly have people over, otherwise the dust in my house might just never get dusted.
π
I tried a new recipe for Peanut Butter Blondies.
Chocolate + Peanut Butter is the way ot my heart.
* I met a dear friend for lunch at one of my favorite joints: Local Eats
We split the carne asada fries and the sliders and they were BOTH delish!
* Afterschool we picked up London’s bestie.
She had two items on her ‘to-do’ list with this bestie.
1. Get Bahama Bucks
2. Get glitter hairspray from Party City.
Done and DONE!
* The boys had their cute friends over Friday night for a hangout…
Chick Fila nuggets, a Circle K run + truth or dare were on their agenda.
Joe and I hid upstairs for most of the night, with the exception of going downstairs a few times, just to embarrass our kids.
{That’s like a parental right, huh?}
* Saturday morning was glorious because I slept in until 10:30. Why my family thought they needed to wake me up and TELL ME it was 10:30 is beyond me…but anyways…π
* I worked on Etsy orders for most of the day…
…and then we met some of our very favorite friends for a date night at a {new to us} Italian restaurant for lots of laughs.
* Churchey-church on Sunday.
Cubby was so bummed he got all dresed up and then couldn’t come with us.

I LOVED the quotes on the front of our church program.
I’ve been thinking a lot about the word MINISTERING lately and this quote is exactly what I needed to read.
* I filled in for the pianist in Primary and had the privledge of hearing the sweet kiddos sing THIS song.
Oh my goodness!
It’s my new favorite Primary song!!!
Such a sweet message.
* We had my sister over for Sunday dinner {roast beef and mashed potatoes, duh!} and then attended the Open House for our friends’ sweet son who is getting ready to leave for his mission to Calgary, Canada.
So much excitement in their home and I loved being apart of it!
