* We started Friday morning off by seeing our weekly summer movie….
This is the SECOND time I’ve seen this movie and I can officially tell you that it’s quite possibly one of the WORST movies ever made. The ONLY reason we went this last time was because the tickets were $1, popcorn and soda were involved and it’s been 112 degrees outside with not much else to do.
So. Lame.
* Afterwards we headed over to the mall with my sister and her kiddos to get these 2 cuties ears pierced….
London FIRST had her ears pierced when she was an itty bitty baby. Yup – I’m THAT mom. Little girls + earrings is quite possibly the cutest thing EVER.
Around the age of 3 though they got infected and long story short – – they closed up.
It DEFINITELY took some convincing this second go around….
…..and after many tears…..she was glad to have it done.
Again.
* Friday night was spent watching {and dancing} to
“Teen Beach Movie 2″…
I might’ve been more hyped up about this movie than my own kids. {Remember when London dressed up as Layla for Halloween one year?}
* Saturday was a VERY special day.
Our cute friend Carrie got BAPTIZED!!!
It has been SO much fun to be apart of her journey and it was a special day that both Joe and I will never forget.
Afterwards we had a little reception at our house to celebrate.
* Sunday morning we hit the road for our summer VA-CAY!
Needless to say – – it was a TIGHT squeeze.
SUCH a beautiful drive.
Side Note:
I was SUPER excited to see this list of recommendations in my People magazine.
And..I started {and have now almost finished} this book on our car ride…
IT IS GOOD!

we even have AC and most people don't.
a young mom in our wad called me and she says it was 95 IN her house.. I told her to come with the baby and sleep here.. poor girl!!
