* Friday morning was London’s big talent show performance…
She choreographed a dance to Dolly Parton’s song 9-5 and KILLED it! The wig was an added bonus.
SO fun to watch her perform.
The girl has NO stage fright whatsoever and I LOVE it!
* In between performances I ran a few errands and did a quick stop at the Goodwill…
I’ve never read a Hunger Games book in my life but THIS one…I can relate to…๐
* We ran the kids around to dance, tumbling and a backyard campout on Friday night and ended the evening back at our house with takeout and London, watching Double Dare.
This show WAS MY JAM back in the day and it excites me like nothing else to see that London loves it as much as I used to. {It’s the little things}.
* Saturday morning was spent doing chores and cleaning out the garage. Does anyone else just seem to shove things into your garage…thinking you’ll arrange it later…and then you never do and then you have a big, fat, cluttered mess?
That was pretty much our garage on Saturday.
* Date night Saturday night at the Temple.
I think we need to just come to grips with the fact that Joe and I are not selfie takers.
๐
We sure give it a good effort though.
* We met Joe’s bro and his wife for dinner afterwards at
I forgot how much I LOVE this place!
I mean…any place that serves complimentary garlic knots has my vote, really.
* Churchey-church on Sunday.
Our lesson in Relief Society was on Takashi Wada’s talk
So many good nuggets from this talk and such good discussion. I left feeling uplifted and ready to face the week.
* We grilled burgers Sunday night and the kids played
around out back.
Yes, our grass needs some attention. Don’t judge. |
The weather has been unseasonably COOL and I’m so sad to see it all go away later this week. This will probably be one of the last nights the kids can hang out outside before the summer sizzle {100+ temps) begin.
