* Friday morning I had my all time favorite breakfast…
…followed by errands and a quick stop at TJ Maxx.
SUPER giddy because I found Cubby some Rae Dunn dog dishes. Aren’t they adorable??
* Back at home I meal planned for this week…
…plus grocery shopped online.
I have a love/hate relationship with online grocery shopping.
LOVE that it’s easy and convenient and that I don’t feel like I spend hours walking around aimlessy in the aisles.
HATE: having other people pick my produce and meat, not being able to SEE things in person….and lastly, their substitions are not something I would normally pick.
Also….I ordered 8 apples and 1 onion.
Somehow I ended up with 8 onions and 1 apple.
{Side note: If I still had littles at home during the day I would so be ALL about this.}
* Whipped up some pumpkin chocolate chip bread before the kids got home from school.
Dressed ’em up all fall-ish so we could deliver them to a few different families on Friday night.
* The boys had tumbling again on Friday night so we grabbed a bite next door at Blue 32 – hands down one of our local faves.
We just so happened to run into Joe’s cousin so we all squished into one booth and had fun chatting.
{Kami – we were wishing you were there!}
* Saturday was filled with birthday parties.
The kids played on this ginormous slide for about 5 hours straight.
Meanwhile, back at home…I tried my hand at meal prepping a few things for the week. I’m trying {being the key word} to get more organized and make things lots simpler during the week for us.
These egg muffins were a HUGE hit.
I had hoped they’d last thru Wednesday {think of these as a quick breakfast and go!} but they were gone by Sunday night. Guess I’ll be making some more.
* Churchey-church on Sunday.
We had fun friends over for Sunday dinner: roast beef, mashed potatoes, glazed carrots and butt rolls. My friend made the most delicious Toll House Cookie Pie for dessert.
We. Were. Stuffed.

This is my kids’ last week of school before a 2.5 week FALL BREAK!!! We are READY!!!!
Lots of fun on the horizon and we can’t wait!
