* Friday started out at Goodwill.
I needed an hour to myself and this place is very therapuetic to me {so weird, I know}.
Something not very therapuetic?
Finding a half eaten corndog in your shopping cart with used mustard packets. Goodwill is nasty on so many levels.
Why do I love it so much?
Just. Why???
I thought of every reason in the book to purchase this leg lamp from ‘A Christmas Story’ but I just couldn’t come up with any excuses at all. For only $7.99 though I should’ve just gotten it and stashed it away for our next white elephant gift exchange, right?
I did score myself some knobby milk glass vases in the end for only $1.49 each so seeing that nasty corndog in the beginning might have just been worth it afterall.
Lunch HERE with these cute ladies Friday afternoon.
Love them to pieces.
And how absolutely scrumptious is my friend’s baby?
* Friday night was our elementary school’s first annual Daddy Daughter dance.
London got ready like 2 hours early she was SO excited.
These 2 had SO MUCH FUN!!!
London wanted to dance the ENTIRE night away.
It was fun for me because I got to help at the dessert table and witness it all. I can’t say enough good things about our school, our PTO, the teachers and staff there and the parents in our community who go above and beyond at making events like this spectacular. We are truly blessed to live where we do.
I snuck out a little early from helping at the dance and picked up my boys for a little ‘mother/son’ ice-cream date.
DQ for the win!
I love these 2 and their easy going, hilarious personalities.
* Saturday morning we finally gave Cubby his first ever bath.
He wasn’t too sure about it.
* Date night Saturday night at our very favorite Chinese food restaurant in Chandler.
Egg drop soup on a cold, winter night is my very fave.
Reminds me of a yummy chinese restaurant back in VA where I grew up {NOVA peeps: Hunan West! It will always have my heart}.
* Church meetings all day Sunday.
I taught another lesson and shared this quote that I just love:
“If you have not heard His voice speaking to you lately, return with new eyes and new ears to the scriptures.”
-Elder Robert D. Hales
* Sunday afternoon we attended London’s GREAT TO BE 8 program. This is a short little meeting where all of the 7 year olds get together and their leaders talk to them about getting baptized and confirmed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Later-Day Saints.
London is SO very excited.
I, myself, am still in denial that she is turning EIGHT this year!!!!
* We had my brother over for dinner on Sunday night.
He came to meet Cubby and I’m pretty sure that he is smitten.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

We love going to QC reflexology. They do couples massages and it's $28 if you're a new client for 1hr. You leave your clothes on and it's like a Thai, sports, massage. You book your appt online. There is one in Gilbert at power and ray or Greenfield and baseline. Happy bday!
