* I spent all day Friday preparing for THIS fun bridal shower.
My mom took the kids for the afternoon so I could get things done like baking and cleaning while singing at the top of my lungs to songs like THIS and THIS.
{Gosh I love my Pandora *Natasha Bedingfield* station!}
* Friday night we busted out the popcorn and candy boxes and watched ourselves
the new Disney Teen Beach Movie.
{They’ve only been advertising this movie since January, it seems!}
I thought it was super cute as did my kiddos.
The only bad thing? Carson barfed red vines halfway through it on the middle of my family room carpet. And did I mention I had just finished cleaning for a bridal shower at my house for the next day? Bleh!
* Saturday morning bridal shower.
* The kiddos and I shopped for school supplies {along with the rest of the entire Chandler School District, it seemed!!!} So packed at Target you couldn’t even walk down the school supply aisles.
* Ate dinner afterwards HERE.
* Churchey-Church on Sunday.
*Enjoyed the RAIN, yes RAIN! throughout the afternoon.
* Sunday night we held our
Annual Coombs Family Back to School Dinner
with the kiddos.
Annual Coombs Family Back to School Dinner
with the kiddos.
Cannot wait to share all of the fun details of this evening!
* Finished the weekend off with whip cream shots….
….and a mean game of Flinch.
{Which just happens to be the best card game ever! My Grandpa Misel taught me how to play and us Lamoreaux’s have been playing it ever since we were little. We’ve now passed on the love of the game to our own kiddos and it is SO much fun to play with them.}
* The boys laid out their First Day of School outfits and went to bed as giddy as could be…all in anticipation for their new school year.
When I went to check on them before going to bed, I found them like this:
Guess there really was no need for separate beds afterall!
{These two melt my heart!}

What a beautiful idea! Thanks for all the great inspiration! I'm going to do something very similar for my kids in a few weeks when we get ready to start school here in Texas.
