* My Friday morning began like this…
The reason I LOVE working on my laptop at places like this is because of the amount of unlimited soda refills that I can help myself to. It doesn’t take much to excite me, folks!
Also – can we all agree that we strongly dislike the word ‘shmear’ as used when describing cream cheese?
Why does Einstein’s do this?
Doesn’t everyone else in the world think of having a ‘papsmear’ when having to order your bagel this way?
Their pumpkin muffins are in and I’m determined to try these on my next visit.
Meanwhile, while I was eating and typing…
London was busy spending her last day of the week as STAR STUDENT. To say that she was beaming the ENTIRE week about this is an understatement.
{I LOVE that her teacher sent me this!}
* Date night Friday night at the Temple.
Joe and I really need to up our game when it comes to taking selfies.
It was such a breath of fresh air to be inside of this gorgeous building. It was just the pick me up I needed.
Dinner at Cafe Rio afterwards.
I honestly could never get sick of their pork salads.
* Saturday morning I woke up to these….
Joe stopped at Bosa on his way home from a meeting and I couldn’t have been happier. {He really knows the way to my heart, I tell ya!}
* I spent the day decluttering our toy room and then working on Etsy orders…
Crafting to me, is oh so very therapuetic.
I LOVE this sort of thing so much.
* Zuchinni bread was made.
THIS recipe is my all time fave.
Either I forgot to spray Pam on the loaf tins or….
I need to get myself some new loaf tins.
That was how my bottoms turned out but the good news is – – they still tasted DE-LISH and I may have eaten half a loaf all by my very own self.
* Saturday night we attended the adult session of our Stake Conference. Gosh, I loved it so much.
The speakers were so uplifting and the special musical number that was sung {Savior, Redeemer Of My Soul – my favorite!} had me sobbing ugly tears. GOOD UGLY tears.
* Dessert date with some of our favorites afterwards…
Grateful for these people I call my friends.
Lots of good laughs ALWAYS guaranteed.
* More of Stake Conference on Sunday.
I left feeling like a better person because of the talks given. SO inspiring and SO uplifting.
So grateful to have been apart of it.
* Sunday night meeting with my committee for our big Stake Womens Conference this fall.
You guys!
I am SO very excited for it.
If you are local {outside of our stake} and would like more details about it – – message me!

Not to laugh at your comparison of shmear and smear but it NEVER occured to me to think of that! Schmeer Kase is like cream cheese in Germany as I recall. It is just delicious. Maybe that will help. This is my first time reading your blog and I read several entries. Delightful. I will become a follower! Thank you!

Haha – well that definitely helps me understand why they chose the word 'shmear' to use…LoL. Thanks for stopping by! xoxo
