* Friday morning we woke up early and trekked all the way out to Glendale. We toured the world famous {I don’t know if it really is – – but that sounds good, right?}
This little tour was FREE and oh so fun.
My kids and I LOVED it!!!
There was every type of chocolate and taffy you could think of.
We even got to go down the factory line and have fresh chocolate drizzled onto our fingers. YuM!
The kids got to hold a 10 pound brick of solid chocolate….
…and I discovered what might just be my new favorite treat. Cerreta’s French chocolate mints.
Oh. My. Gosh.
* Afterwards, we checked out Joe’s new work spot and then ate lunch HERE which was just bleh.
{The meat in the bag last weekend was MUCH better!}
* Friday night we went to our dear friends’ house for a surprise birthday party.
So fun being with a bunch of people that we adore, eating….you guessed it…more mexican food.
{I told you we’re sorta obsessed here in AZ.}
* Saturday was bliss.
We had not ONE thing on our schedule during the day.
I stayed in my jammies til about 2:00 and got caught up on laundry and stuff for our taxes {taxes = not so bliss}.
* Saturday night, my Mom and Dad held their annual Lamoreaux Adults only dinner at their house.
This dinner has become one of our favorite traditions.
It’s just us siblings plus our spouses and my mom and dad.
My mom really goes all out with it too.
We had the most delicious Chicken Cordon Bleu, garlic mashed potoates, glazed carrots, fresh rolls and green beans and peppers. SO delish.
We sat outside afterwards on their patio and laughed our heads off together. Fun, indeed.
* Churchey-church on Sunday.
{Still loving this 2:30 time of ours…I swear!}
London busted out the dangly earrings my parents got her from Hawaii. She pretty much thought she was a hot dog wearing them.
Joe and I taught a lesson to our primary kiddos on PRAYER.
We handed these fun little pretzel bags out.
I’ll be offering these tags as a FREE DOWNLOAD tomorrow!
