* Friday, I spent the morning over at an elementary school who had hired me to do some vinyl work on their bathroom stalls.
I LOVE adding postivity to different places!
{And to those who have asked….once I get through the holidays I’ll be offering these vinyls as sets in my Etsy shop! So it won’t matter WHERE you live…YOU can have them at your schools, too!}
* London and I had a little Girls Night Out on Friday night.
She chose to eat at Chilli’s {anyone else automatially sing ‘I want my baby back, baby back, baby back riiiiibssss’ when they talk about Chilli’s? Remember that commrecial?
No? Just me? Huh.}
Ironically, we ran into some of our dear friends so we joined them for dinner…
London and her favorite 3rd grade teacher! |
Afterwards, we went to see….
This was such a DARLING, well done movie.
We both LOVED it!
* Saturday I spent most of the day in my craft room working on Etsy orders…
I can’t tell you how excited it makes me when I’m working away and I hear a Hall and Oates song….
You better believe I always crank it right on UP!
* Joe and I snuck away for a little date night
on Saturday night.
It really had been too long.
I was SO excited to take him to the new Grubstak that just opened up right by our house. It is SO yummy and if you ever go {which you totally should!} you MUST try their chilaquiles.
Dessert afterwards at the D to the Q.
Their Reese’s Outrageous Blizzard is pretty much what my dreams are made of, not even lying.
* Sunday we attended my sister’s ward to hear my nephew speak about his 2 year mission in Barcelona, Spain.
He knocked it outta the park and did SUCH a wonderful job.
Hearing him bear his testimony in Spanish of our Savior Jesus Christ gave me goosebumps. SO SO special.
My dad made it out of the hopsital just in time, too!
For that…we are over the moon grateful!!
My handsome nephews have been SUCH great examples to my own kids and I am so grateful for them and their willingness to serve the Lord and do what is right.
* We celebrated afterwards over at my parents house with Brunch.
Joe can be found like this on any given Sunday, right after church. ๐๐๐ My parents house is no exception.
The kids all wanted to draw names for their annual ‘Christmas Cousins Gift Exchange’…
Yes….even our DOGS give to one another.
That’s totally normal, right?
