* We tried out a new spot for date night.
Culinary Dropout in Scottsdale.
Yummy Yum Yum! |
I’ve been wanting to try this place for quite sometime now and it did not disappoint.
Great food with a hipster atmosphere.
If you go…you MUST try their Soft Pretzels and Cheese fondue as an appetizer.
{I’ve been dreaming about it ever since.}
We headed over to the Sugar Bowl for dessert afterwards.
Sugar Bowl is a Scottsdale staple and we drop by here any chance we get.
Such a cute little charming and quaint place.
* Saturday morning haircuts at the Barber Shop.
I’m telling you…the Barber Shop is the ONLY place to take little boys for their haircuts.
{They put places like Great Clips to shame.}
* I stamped and addressed envelopes for a bridal shower that I’m planning…
My darling babysitter who has babysat my kids since they were itty-bitties is getting married.
Happy for her.
Sad for us.
She’s become part of our family.
* Joe took the boys to see “The Lone Ranger”.
Presenting…Tonto and the Lone Ranger, themselves. These two are already thinking up Halloween costumes. |
* Met up with the boys for dessert afterwards…
Yes. More ice-cream.
Apple Dumplings this time.
{They have the BEST!}
* Churchey-church on Sunday.
Was spiritually uplifted by a few particular testimonies shared.
LOVE feeling recharged and re-energized by my Sunday meetings.
Taught THIS lesson to my sweet church girls.
* Rushed out of the house so fast Sunday morning that no dinner was placed in the crockpot.
{Cue Debbie Downer music}.
We settled for frozen taquitos and mini chimis.
{BLEH!}
{BLEH!}
Won’t be making that mistake again..smile!
*Had some of our favorite peeps over for pazookies on Sunday night.
We love kickin it with good company.
* Let the kids fall asleep downstairs on the couches while Joe and I watched
Duck Dynasty with ’em.
