* Friday I got myself a pedicure.
{Had you have seen my feet prior to…you would understand why! So. Nasty.}
Pink! For Valentines Day….
and I finished THE BEST book while I was sitting there.
SOOOOOO cute.
I’m a sucker for a GOOD love story.
Love love LOVED it!
* Afterwards, I ran some errands and then treated myself
to lunch at the PB.
I’ve discovered that if I bring my laptop there
{they have Wi-fi!}
and ‘work’ – – I can get all the free Diet Dr. Pepper
refills I want.
It’s my new favorite trick.
{Plus I get to munch on my favorite cookies ever. Working on my laptop there is WAY tastier than at home.}
* Next was a trip to Target and Wal-mart to get my kiddos some Valentines goodies. I thought I was so on the ball doing it a week early and I was SHOCKED to see that LOTS of stuff had already been picked through and sold out. Sigghh.
I did have a good time looking through their card section…
I’m on the hunt to find Joe the funniest FART card out there.
{We’re real mature.}
* Haircuts for the boys Fri. night + Iceberg + a Primary Appreciation meeting at the church.
Oh…also worth mentioning….
This sweet girl….
Threw an all out RAGING fit complete with hysterics! when she discovered that I went and got a pedicure that day WITHOUT her! How dare I, right? She demanded that I take OFF my toe nail polish to pay her back {I didn’t of course} and then she left this note on my bed for me:
Mom: You should think about what you have done.
I’m pretty sure I didn’t even know what a pedicure WAS when I was in Kindergarten.
*Saturday sports for the boys.
A loss for both but man they played their hearts out.
* The weather here has been completely GORGE-wah lately and so I figured it was as good of time as ever to teach London how to ride a bike Saturday night.
That handle thingey is the best invention EVER!
* Topped the evening off with some fro-yo and
one of our favorite ladies ever.
*Churchey-church on Sunday followed by a 2 hour nap.
{Much needed to both}.
**************************************************
On tap for this week:
* Planning a Valentine themed Teacher Breakfast
* Planning for London’s Taylor Swift themed Birthday party
{Don’t most almost 6 year olds want princess parties?}
* 2 half days for the kiddos {teacher conferences} which means taking them up on my promise: Peter Piper Pizza.
* Lamoreaux adult Valentines dinner.
{My mom goes all out on this!}
Happy February!
