* Carson was awarded a ‘Character Counts’ award
on Friday for: Trustworthiness.
He got to be recognized in front of his whole school at their morning assembly and we couldn’t have been more proud.
* I rushed from the school and onto breakfast with {most} of my fam HERE.
It was my sister’s birthday and we love basically any excuse to celebrate and eat out.
It’s pretty much our two favorite things.
Oh…and next time I’m ordering what my brother got…
His breakfast burrito looked like it was literally ready to give birth to about a dozen eggs, it was so huge.
* Cleaning and laundry back at home afterwards.
{Why are those two chores NEVER done? Not matter HOW hard I try.}
* Joe and I tried out a new spot for date night Friday night and we found a WINNER!
We absolutely LOOOOOOVED this place!
We split the spinach and artichoke grilled cheese and the Prime dip sandwich on a soft pretzel roll.
They were both incredible.
Oh…and I should mention…this outdoor restaurant has a bunch of caged exotic birds all around and they are quite fun to listen to.
* Saturday was Carson’s last soccer game of the season.
{Wahoozle for having a little break from sports now!}
Just chillin on the field.
Not a care in the world.
Which is good…because they lost 5-0.
* Saturday night we hosted a little BBQ for my side of the family. My nephew Ryan was in town for the weekend from BYU and he brought down with him about 8 friends.
London pretty much fell in love with his {girl}friends and never left their side the entire night.
Joe grilled up his famous burgers and dogs which is no small feat for 24 people!
The weather was perfectly perfect and we sat out on our back patio chatting with everyone until past dark.
* Churchey-church on Sunday.
{Side Note: 8:30 am church NEVER gets easier. EVER.}
* Naps afterwards.
I woke up to this cute face a few hours later and then we headed off to my parents house for Sunday dinner.
{Sunday dinner is ALWAYS better when it’s at someone else’s house…am I right?}
Happy Sunday + Happy Spring.
Yup, spring is in full bloom here in AZ.
The orange blossoms are out and in full effect and we are sniffing them in through our windows as I type.
{LoVe!}
