Can you believe our schools start ONE WEEK from today?
It’s pretty glorious because then our kids get 2 week breaks in the fall, winter and spring…when it’s actually nice weather here.

Lately we’ve been sharing the Country Fried Chicken – – it’s HUGE + it’s made with bacon gravy so….it’s super healthy.

* Saturday morning we swung by my parents house…
…the kids wanted to put on a fashion show for them with their new school clothes.
The rest of my day was spent making oodles of cupcakes for my friends son’s missionary party.

I love being in my kitchen and baking but man… when I make a BIG batch of ANYTHING and then have to FROST it all…I’m wiped out afterwards.
London and I cooled off at our friend’s pool when I was all done…
We got about 20 minutes of swimming in before the HABOOB hit.
Yup.
It’s a real thing.
In AZ we don’t get tornados or hurricanes….
we get monsoons and haboobs.
And they’re CRAZY!
* Churchey-church on Sunday.
After missing 2 weeks because of vacation, it sure was nice to get back.
My bro and Adam swung by afterwards with their 2 pups.
I seriously love Cubby’s little, stubby legs so dang much.
* We grilled BBQ chicken for dinner and finished the night by laughing way too hard at AFV.
{It really doesn’t take much to make this family of ours laugh.}

* Prepping for our annual Coombs Family Back to School Dinner. I’ll be sharing some of our previous ones from years past this week!
*Panther Day for my boys: this is when they get their JR High schedules and walk around to see where their classes are.
Wait WHAT?!?
Yup….BOTH my boys will be in JR High this year.
I can’t even.
* London’s Meet the Teacher for Elementary school.
Fun times ahead….ready or not!
