* Friday morning started out bright and early over at the school with ‘Pastries for Parents’.
Our PTO did SUCH a great job with this event!
They had everything from donuts, to homemade muffins to fruit and Chick-Fila breakfast sandwiches.
We have such a great community around us.
* I worked on Etsy orders back home, afterwards….
I love this time of year!
* Also…..
Doesn’t everyone want a ginormous stuffed animal taking up space in their house? 😳 Somehow, we’re the lucky ones.
* Grant competed in a ‘dance off’ at his junior high assembly on Friday afternoon.
He and his peeps WON!
I love watching him do his thing.
He just oozes confidence when he dances and I love it!
* We stayed in Friday night, ate donuts and watched Dateline. {Most normal adults find this romantic, no?😝}
*Saturday we spent the afternoon over at Joe’s twin brother’s house swimming. {Yes, they are identical!}
We had SO much fun with everyone.
The weather was perfect and London could’ve stayed in the pool all day if I’d have let her!

* The boys hung out at a friends’ house on Saturday night so we stayed in with London, I made THIS soup {so delish!} and Joe and I watched the premiere of SNL.
What the heck was up with Kanye West’s performances?
I’m not talking about his rant at the end {though also weird}…I’m talking about his actual performances.
Totally bizarre.
* Churchey-church on Sunday.
We spent Sunday afternoon over at our dear friends’ house for dinner. They went all out: Mississippi mud pot roast, corned beef and cabbage, cowboy stew, rice, potatoes….they pretty much had EVERYTHING and we loved ALL of it! Thank you sweet Chanda for hosting.

A couple of things…
1. We are heading to Disneyland because #obsessed + Disneyland at Halloweentime is my FAVE! I’ll be taking the week off from blogging but will be back with a full re-cap when we return.
