* Friday I met a friend for lunch at Local Eats.
They’ve recently re-done their menu and I was curious to try it out…
Their carne asada tacos were AH-mazing!!!!
Like…I keep thinking about them amazing.
* Ran a couple of errands.
I finally felt good enough to go to Goodwill.
{That’s how I knew I was sick last week.
No desire whatsoever to thrift shop.}

I cannot get enough of the the books I find there.
{Do you follow my stories on IG?}
* Friday night the kids had dance and then had friends over. Joe and I were forced upstairs to our bedroom to watch TV and get outta the way. {Seriously…how do we have kids old enough to do this to us?}
We finished the R. Kelly docu-series.
Gah.
I can’t believe he’s not in jail.
* Saturday we had the kids clean out my car….
Anyone else have kids that feel like it’s ok to just leave dirty socks, candy wrappers, old french fries, etc. in every crevice of their car?
No? Just mine? Awesome.
*Afterwards we took the boys to see…

I had no idea this movie was based on a true story!
We LOVED it!!!!
Super cute.
* Saturday night we all stayed in and I tried a new recipe for dinner.
My photo doesn’t do it justice.
IT WAS DEE-LISH.
I was a little nervous too, because the dressing did NOT smell dee-lish.
{I added chopped cucumbers and did only 1 tsp. of sesame oil instead of 2}.
* Churchey-church on Sunday.
I haven’t been able to enjoy the 2 hour time change yet because it’s been ward conferences in our stake and as part of my calling we get to visit the other wards. {It’s actually one of my favorite parts of my calling}.
We visited 2 yesterday {one was my home ward} and do you ever have those Sundays where you just tear up the second you start singing the opening song in Sacrament Meeting?
That was me yesterday.
So many good feels at church yesterday.
I felt like my canteen had been filled.
