My kids were SO bored this weekend.
So bored in fact that they BEGGED to go grocery shopping with me on Friday. {They usually LOATHE going to the grocery store with me.} I decided to be nice and treat them to Sodalicious afterwards.
Caffeine always cheers my kids up. Is that bad? Don’t answer. Because it cheers me up too!
I’ve started working on LOTS of new Etsy goodies for the holiday season. Yes…I’m already thinking Christmas. In fact…in the next little while… it’s going to be CHRISTMAS in July on my Etsy page. I can’t wait!!
We did chores on Saturday and then London and I ran a couple of errands.
I haven’t been inside of a Bath and Body Works in what seems like FOREVER. It felt so good to be back. PLUS…their candles were on sale for $10 off!
I introduced my kids to a TV classic on Saturday night.
SUPERMARKET SWEEP, baby!!!! Did you know it’s on Netflix?
I’m convinced that I could win this show!!! It also got me thinking random things like….did they film inside of a REAL grocery store? Did they get to KEEP the food they put in their baskets during the sweep? Then I stumbled across THIS article that answered all of my burning questions. {I may need a life}.
We got my new favorite treat on Saturday night. You guys…I may be obsessed…
If you have not tried this delicious goodness yet….you need to RUSH to your nearest Dairy Queen and give it a try. I believe it’s only there for the month of July and IT IS SO GOOD!!!!!! Like we’ve been to DQ more in the last 2 weeks than we’ve probably been in the last 6 months together.
Sunday was a lazy Sunday. We all slept in until 11:00. Made a big late breakfast. Had at home church around 4:00 and then had a roast beef dinner to finish things off.
I stumbled upon THIS article and the following quote struck me like gold:
“Most things we hear from heaven, are ultimately felt in our hearts.”
I could not agree with this quote more! Grateful for answered prayers. And the feelings within our hearts that lead us to do what is right.
