* Friday {New Year’s Day} I woke up to a family room full of cousins, laughing their heads off together.
We ate breakfast and then headed over to my parent’s house to watch the Fiesta Bowl and play games.
Have you ever played Mexican Train?
It’s a Lamoreaux family favorite.
The kids played out on the golf course and caught this cute pic.
* Friday afternoon we took the kiddies over to Joe’s parents house {have I mentioned how lucky we are to have BOTH of our parents — – ok BOTH of ALL of our immediate families that live close by?}
We went and saw….

Wowzers.
What a great movie.
Glad my kids don’t play tackle football after seeing it, that is for sure.
Will Smith should win an Oscar for his portrayal of Dr. Omalu.
He was OUTSTANDING.
* Dinner HERE afterwards.
That right there is a FLYING SAUCER.
And I get it EVERY time.
{I try and tell myself I’m gonna get something different and then I just can’t. I love this dish too much.}
I get mine with shredded beef, no guac {allergic} and with their REFRIED beans instead of the ones that come on it.
{Yum, yum YUM!}
* I spent the rest of my evening back at home watching…
Holy. Moly.
Please tell me you’ve seen this?!?!?!
It’s like a good Dateline times 100!
Words cannot EVEN describe the emotions I felt while watching it.
Wow. Wow. Wow.
That is all.
P.S. The prosecutor…..with the mustache….totally nasty and the way he spoke so softly all the time made me want to barf.
Anyone else?
* Saturday morning I took London in to see the doctor.
She had been up ALL night coughing her brains out and it was one of those coughs that just didn’t sound right.
Ya know that mother’s intuition people talk about?
I get it.
Pneumonia.
In her right lung.
Remember how last week I said the ‘sick bug’ could take a flying hike??? Well apparently I need to say it a little louder:
THE SICK BUG CAN TAKE A FLYING HIKE AND NEVER COME BACK!!!!!!
* After picking up her medication from the pharmacy, we went home and I spent the entire rest of the day taking down our Christmas decorations.
Boo. Hoo.
I always get so sad when it comes time to do this.
I hate it really.
I hate admitting that Christmas and the holiday season are actually over.
And I really dislike taking down our Christmas card door….
Gosh, I love looking at these fun cards all throughout the season, every time I walk down the stairs.
{Getting the mail in the month of December = one of my very favorite things.}
* Churchey-church on Sunday.
Our new church time = 10:30 am. WAHOO!!!!!
MUCH, much better than the 8:30 time we had last year.
Luckily, we get to continue teaching London’s sweet little primary class {6 turning 7’s} and we handed out these little treats for the kiddos to take home….
I’ll post a free download to these tags later this week.
When I get my rear in gear.
Anyone else have zero motivation since Christmas?!?
Sigh…..

Church for us is at 11, which I love. I don't have to kick my kids out of bed,literally.
I'm sad Christmas is over. Valentines decorations just aren't the same.
Marci Coombs says
So true!!! And kicking your kids out of bed on a Sunday is the absolute worst! Glad I don't have to do it anymore either ๐ And I think 11 is the BEST time EVER for church! xoxo
