Friday was our last and final day for our Teacher Appreciation Week. Can I just tell you how GLAD I am that we chose to do it EARLY this year {instead of the first week of May like the rest of the country?}
We arranged to have the restaurant Oregano’s cater it.
Pasta + Salads + Bread – – – how can you go wrong?
Decorating for this lunch was pretty simple.
I made the backdrop using letters cut out from my Silhouette machine and a package of hanging fans from Hobby Lobby.
I also used vases filled with dry spaghetti.
Is it just ME or does the whole red and black and white theme just SCREAM Italian food to you? I couldn’t resist.
Yes…we even had pazookies with ice-cream for dessert.
Oregano’s pazookie is hands down my favorite EVER!
For centerpieces in the break room, I cut 12 x 12 paper with silhouette machine so that it had a scalloped edge.
Flowers in jars with burlap + gingham ribbon.
It really was a lot of fun but I’m not gonna lie – – I was pooped after last week was over. A BIG HUGE thank you to everyone who helped out with all of the FUN and made it all possible!
The day prior – – we had arranged to have the Waffle Crush truck come at lunch time. Each teacher got to choose one dessert waffle for FREE!
