We headed down the mountain back to Cedar City with a quick stop at one of our favorite greasy joints…

The new Cedar City temple!
Ever since they announced that this temple would be built – I’ve been bursting with excitement to go inside!!
{My roots are in Cedar City. My parents were born and raised here. We grew up spending summers here. I went to college here. Got my first radio DJ job here.
So much goodness here!}
We were able to bring our ancestor’s names with us and do a session inside. It was just as I had imagined.
Beautiful. Peaceful. Perfect.
I love that my Grandma Misel always goes to the temple with me even though she’s no longer alive. That’s her vintage suitcase that I take with me each time I go.
{Side note to those who don’t know: When you go inside of the temple, you change into all white clothing. My all white clothing stays inside this suitcase.}

Yes! That's my claim to fame is knowing YOU Claudine!!! Those breadsticks are my kids' FAVORITE!!! We didn't hit up the baptistry this time. I wasn't even thinking – – and didn't think to bring my boys with us to do some! Dad didn't go to the temple. His legs were too jumpy. And yes! We were hoping Quinn was working but he wasnt . So fun to see you guys and get together again! We love our Spevak Family!!!
