* Day 5 – HAPPY 4th OF JULY!!!
We took our yearly traditional pics just outside of the cabin before heading down the mountain for the morning.
Tori, Ryan and Cam |
* Our first stop was for breakfast in Cedar City at what used to be called The Main Street Grill….don’t even know what they renamed it to but….IT WAS SO GOOD!
REALLY good!
Small town parade afterwards.
Nothing beats a small town parade on the 4th of July, am I right?
My sister, being the jokester that she is made us all up some CEDAR CITY Bingo game cards….
…because let’s be honest…
small town parades = the best people watching all year long!
* I got to catch up with my cute cousin from Boise for a bit…
And Londy got to catch candy with one of her favorite friends in Southern Utah.
How cute that they were even MATCHING! {Not even planned!}
* We drove by my Grandma and Grandpa’s old house…
This cute little house is the house that my mom was born and raised in. When we’d come out to visit in the summertime as litlte kids, we’d sleep in the basement here. So many fond memories. Wish we could’ve gone inside.
* After all of the morning festivities we headed up to the Brianhead Ski Resort.
We LOVE this place!!
Riding their ski lifts up to the top {11,000 FEET!} is one of our favorite things to do.
The kids rode the tubing slides too and had a blast…
* We headed back to the cabin for dinner: mexican food!
Might not have been super American….but my dessert was.
