You know the Pringles saying “Once you pop, you can’t stop?” Well that rings true for these Oreo Truffles. You CAN’T have JUST ONE. I promise. They are incredibly easy and the perfect addition to any shower or party. Here’s how easy they are:
OREO TRUFFLES
Take 1 package of OREOs. Mix in your food processor so that they are basically the consistency of fine crumbs. Put in bowl and add 1- 8 oz. package of cream cheese. Blend together for about 2 minutes. Form into balls with your hand and then once they are all rolled…place in the freezer. After they have sat in the freezer for awhile {at least an hour} dip them in melted chocolate {I always just buy the kind that comes in the form of baking chips from Michaels}. Place them on wax paper and then put them in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
Here’s some things I’ve learned about these beauties:
* They are EXTRA yummy if you use the MINT OREOS.
* I NEED to try the PEANUT BUTTER OREOS. I think these would be equally as delicious.
* DO NOT use the Double Stuffed OREOS. It throws the whole consistency off.
* They also look cute on lollipop sticks.
