I held a board meeting tonight at my house with the fabulous ladies that I get to work with in my church organization. Man, am I lucky! We had lots to discuss and so I knew that we absolutely needed ONE THING to help out. Dessert!
I’ve had Oreos on the brain lately thanks to THIS pin on Pinterest. And as yummy as THAT recipe looked…I wanted something even easier. So here’s what I came up with:
My version of
OREO TRIFLE.
Super simple. Super Yummy.
First thing. Go to your local grocery store and pick up some plastic martini glasses. {If you want to be even MORE elegant…you can buy them at the $ store for a buck a piece. I wasn’t feeling elegant. And the plastic one’s are a tad cheaper}.
Make up a batch of your favorite brownies. While they are cooling, prepare 2 boxes of Jell-O Oreo pudding. Directions are on the back. {Local peeps…I could only find this flavor at Fry’s}.
Layer a little dollop of the pudding in the bottom of the cup…
….and place the brownie on top.
Layer with even MORE OREO pudding….
….and top with Cool Whip and a mini Oreo.
Dessert doesn’t get much easier than that!
Shortly after Christmas, I scored some silver sparkle-y takeout boxes at Target for only 50 cents. I knew I wanted to do something for the NEW YEAR with them. I soon realized that I’d put them to use as my ‘board meeting’ favors!
I still couldn’t get OREOs off my brain. So here’s what I came up with:
I dipped regular Oreos into white chocolate and then dusted em with silver and black sprinkles.
Once they had hardened up a little bit in my refrigerator, I lined my takeout containers with parchment paper and piled em in.
Closed em up, added a little detail and I was done! Pretty festive, no?
The New Year’s printable circles were FREE over at The TomKat Studio.

That was my question too… Who pays for all this cute stuff? I would love to do more things like I am seeing on your blog but I can't afford it myself and I am in a small branch. I average 5-7 girls total on Wed. nights and usually only 1 on Sundays.

Your site is amazing. I just have one question. Do you pay for all of this? Or do you just have a really good YW budget?

I make something like this myself. I am dropping the plain vanilla pudding to Oreo pudding, and adding the ribbon! Thanks for sharing. I am now hungry for something sweet and looks delicious!

I've never seen the likes of you, girl!! It would be hard to replace you. No one could ever do as good.
