I posted about THIS darling wreath on Monday. I kept thinking about it and finally caved and went to Hobby Lobby to purchase the supplies so that I could make my own. And I’m so glad I did…it was super simple and took me less than 10 minutes to throw together. Promise!
I knew that I just had to add some pink to it. What’s Easter without the color PINK? I purchased the grass mat from Hobby Lobby. They are on sale right now for $2. I cut out the center. The tutorial I linked to, speckled their own eggs. I however, found a bag of ALREADY speckled eggs also at Hobby Lobby and snatched those up as well. Big time saver there. The little nest and mini eggs were found at Michaels for about $1. I chose to paint some of the mini eggs pink. The frame was also purchased at Michaels….it is a size 11×14. The frame and the grass mat are attached together with ribbon. Everything else was hot glue gunned on. I have high hopes of changing out the center now for each holiday.
I’m also thrilled because I was able to move over my ‘old’ wreath to the light post and so now I’ve got double the Easter-ness goin on at my front door. It really doesn’t take much to excite me, huh?
