Lazy Chocolate Chip Bars.

August 10, 2018 | Uncategorized

This week I was in charge of feeding lunch to 75 Mormon Missionaries as part of their Zone Conference.

This hands down is one of my FAVORITE things to do!

These are such sweet, hard working human beings.
We had a TACO BAR with all the fixins and then for dessert….I wanted to serve something that was EASY and DIFFERENT and of course, DELISH!

I found this yummy recipe on Pinterest a few weeks ago and decided to give it a go {beforehand, to make sure I liked it!}

It’s the perfect recipe if:

a) You don’t have much time
b) You don’t have a bunch of ingredients
and
c) if you need to feed a lot of people! – – just double/triple/quadruple it. It’s super simple!

We served ours with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream on top and some said it tasted similiar to a pazookie!

EnJoY!!!

Lazy Chocolate Chip Bars

2 eggs
1 yellow cake mix
1 stick of butter, melted
1 bag of chocolate chips

Mix together your melted butter + eggs.
Add cake mix and mix again.
Add chocolate chips and mix until throroughly combined.

Place into a GREASED 11×9 or 9×9 pan.

Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until a fork comes out clean.

NOTE: If you double this recipe – it can be made in a 9×13 pan.

Aww, that would make me SO happy!!! His name is Elder Kaleb Peterson; he's hard to miss at 6'5", haha! Right now he's the District Leader in the McClintock YSA Ward on ASU campus. He absolutely LOVES serving in AZ!!!

I've been a huge fan of yours for years, and when he was called to the Arizona Tempe Mission, I immediately thought of you! I told him you and I were soul sisters, and I knew you'd take care of him if you connected (and you have without even knowing it, haha!!!) ๐Ÿ™‚ Another funny fact, your nephew that married Jordan…I went to school with her Mom Leslie, and my husband worked with her in the ER at UVRMC. Small world, huh? xoxo
