January Visiting Teaching Handout – The Family Proclamation.

December 30, 2015 | Uncategorized

Anyone else in disbelief that the holidays are over?
I cannot believe that it’s going to be a NEW month, let alone a NEW year!!!

Holy Moly!

January’s Visiting Teaching lesson is on:
The Family: A Proclamation to the World
Seriously.
How lucky are we to have this nugget of goodness in our lives?

Fun Fact: The Family Proclamation was first given by President Gordon B. Hinckley back in 1995.

I found a little quote given by Neal A. Maxwell, on this very topic.  It talks about JEWELS. There are a number of different things you can do with my handouts this month.

{There are 2 handouts to download. An 8×10 Family Proclamation and a tag with Elder Maxwell’s quote.}
Find some ‘candy’ JEWELry and attach it to my tag.
{Ring pops and candy necklaces can be found at local gas stations, grocery stores or the $ store.}
Print out my 8×10 Family Proclamation, roll it up, tie it with a bow and add a candy JEWEL necklace.
FRAME my Family Proclamation – – –
cheap frames can be found at Wal-mart and the Dollar Tree.

I made this up as a jpeg so it can be printed out at home on a regular piece of cardstock OR at places like Costco as an 8×10.

I love the message within the Family Proclamation.
I’ve printed mine out and it will set it upon our shelf with our family picture right next to it.
Have I mentioned how much I LOVE my family?!?
I do.

      I am so sorry – I'm not sure what it could have been. I hope you were able to figure it out. I haven't had anyone else say that they've had this problem. xoxo

    I printed off the handout and the word "jewels" has funny squiggly lines on it. I also looked at it under "open as pdf" and it shows it there as well. Not sure what happened there. Looks normal when you click on link but printed not so much. Happy to send a photo if that helps.

      Hmmmm…not sure why that's happening? I've tried it on a couple different computers of mine and it seems to print out just fine…..I'm so sorry. I wish I could be of more help! I hope you can figure it out soon….xoxo

    Would love to use your Family Proclamation, but am having trouble downloading it – just comes up as a blank page. Is there a trick to it?
