My sweet little Grant turned EIGHT last month.
{3 days before Christmas to be exact.}
Isn’t he handsome?
He was lucky enough to have his BAPTISM on the VERY SAME DAY as his birthday!
How cool is that?!
{Turning 8 is a BIG deal when you’re a Mormon.}
Invitations were designed by Announcing You. |
Here’s a peek at his SPECIAL DAY and how we CELEBRATED…
Our family.
Father and Son.
We had everyone back to our house afterwards for a BIRTHDAY PARTY!
Table covering via Hobby Lobby wrapping paper.
It’s my new favorite way to cover tables.
{And MAN is the clean up easy…smile!}
I purchased a shield cookie cutter online and made up these CTR cookies.
I had hoped for them to turn out a tad bit differently but….they worked!
{I’ve discovered I don’t have a very steady hand when it comes to writing with icing.}
It was a perfect day that we will always remember.
Grant was on cloud 9 the entire time.
So SO proud of him…I love him to pieces!
So special that his 2nd grade teacher was able to attend!
Grandma and Grandpa Lamoreaux.
My favorite OLDEST child.
{Smile}.

I meant the black and white Table cloths with the white swirls. Not the disposable checkered ones. THANK YOU!!

Hi! I found this blog on pinterest! I love your ideas and deco. Could you tell me where I can buy that Table Cloth??!! I've been looking for one like that all over the internet & no luck so far. Is it cloth? It looks like it isn't vinyl. THANK YOU!!! ๐

Hi. I love all these great ideas. Did you design the invite? I love it. I've been gathering ideas for my son who will be 8 next year. I was also wondering about the two framed word art prints you have. Are those downloadable somewhere? Or for sale?
Thanks!

Check your local Wal-mart or drugstore near by. They usually print them too! You just upload it as a pic to their photo website and usuallyt hey're done in like an hour! Good luck xoxo

Hi, me again ๐ What would be the best way to print the announcements? I am making my own but it is similar in design to yours and I'm not sure the best way to print, cut, and make copies. If you could let me know ASAP that'd be great ๐ Thanks!

Hi Jennifer! The best way to print these is at Costco. If you're making your own – just size it to either a 5×7 or 4×6 and upload it to the Costco site. I think they turn out best that way. xoxo

Thanks! No Costco close by though :/ But I'll keep that in mind!

Grant is a great kid and I loved watching Joe baptize him.
