Going Away Gift idea.

One of my besties is moving and I am NOT happy about it. Her husband didn’t even ask my opinion before they made their decision…isn’t that rude?!? I would’ve kept her here in a heartbeat, had I any say!

Last night was our last hoo-rah at recipe club {details on that to follow}. We all wanted to chip in and give her something but didn’t want it to be anything too big as she’s having to pack everything away.  We settled on a gift card to Home Goods.  I wanted to present it someway cute….and this is what I came up with.  {Remember THIS post from my old blog?  It gave me the idea.}

I used a Target tin that I picked up around Easter time and stuffed it with floral foam.  I poked all of the suckers everywhere that would fit {almost 2 bags} and then spread my crinkle paper around to cover up the foam.  I used tall lollipop sucker sticks to tape the gift card and tag onto.  Easy peasy.
