On Day 8 we headed down the mountain and went to LAGOON.
Lagoon is a HUGE amusement park in Farmington, UT.
I haven’t been since I was about 12 years old.
Man, has it changed!
My kids were naturally drawn to the ‘wet’ rides….
I however, don’t care to go another ‘wet’ ride again in my entire life. The CLIFFHANGER did me in.

It felt like BUCKETS of ICE COLD water were being thrown on top of my head.
I looked like a drowned rat afterwards with soggy shoes.
{Thankful to NOT have a pic of THAT}.
I also got the cold sweats after riding this kiddie ride….
Holy Smokes.
I felt like I was going to BARF!
{When did I become such a wimp?}
My sis, nephews and Joe riding The Rocket. |
I did however gain my bravery back by riding WICKED.

Yup – – that vertical drop is NO JOKE.
{I might’ve peed a little while waiting in line – –
anticipating the fear}.

We even ran into one of our most favorite friends from home!
And yes folks – – that is how Joe walked around the park.
Just like Mary Poppins.
{He takes sun safety to a whole new level.}
We left the park once we were all toasted oats and headed to dinner at a yummy little mexican restaurant in Centerville.
{Their salsa was GOOD but SPICY!}
My nephews + kiddos |
And then we headed back up the mountain to a nice HOT shower. It never felt SO good.
{Especially since I was STILL drenched and cold from that dang water ride!}
