* Our summer vacation kicked off yesterday with an 8 hour car ride to one of our favorite spots in Southern Utah.
For some reason…everyone is able to sleep in the car BUT me.
Snacks are always mandatory on long road trip.
This one takes the cake.

I killed time by surfing the internet….

I was totally obsessed with them.
SO so sad that they died so early.
We rocked out to cds….the kids and I that is.
And I finally finshed THE BEST BOOK EVER!!!
Loved it OH SO MUCH!
* We made a pit stop at the Cliff Dwellers which is always cool…..
….and then another pit stop at Jacob Lake.
{Their cookies >>> everywhere else in the world.}
Once we pulled into town it was straight to the village.
The kids entered a WATERMELON EATING contest.
They all rocked it but Grant was the winner, winner, chicken dinner.
Nothing beats a small town parade…
Seriously some of the BEST people watching around.
We ended the evening with handmade fry bread….
SO DELISH.
So happy to be in cooler temps for the next little bit.
