* Our Christmas week of celebrations began last Friday.
Grant had his 14th birthday party at Main Event.
This was hands down the easiest birthday party I’ve ever thrown. I feel as if I’m entering an entirely new stage with my kids.
I drove them there. Paid. And then left.
They played for 7 hours non-stop and then I picked them back up when they were done.
It was pretty much a WIN-WIN for everyone involved!

* Saturday was Grant’s actual birthday.
How is it even possible that he is 14 already?!?
I swear he JUST started kindergarten and I was bawling my eyes out in the car as I drove away.
We met some of my family for his bday lunch at Moreno’s
{Grant’s pick!}
Best bean dip in all the land.
* Churchey-church on Sunday.
I always LOVE our Sacrament services at church on the Sunday before Christmas. It’s so uplifting and really helps us focus on the true meaning of Christmas.
* Sunday night was our annual
Coombs Family Christmas Party
at Joe’s parents house.
My MIL always has things decorated so perfectly.
We all brought appetizers and the food was SO extra yummy!
The kids reinacted the Nativity.
Marilyn made the most darling little keepsake books for each family with pictures of herself as a child along with some of her favorite holiday memories.
{Family History presents = the BEST presents!}
We held our annual grandkids talent show and man, the cousins ALL rocked it!
It was the perfect way to end the weekend and was exactly how we all wanted to spend our Christmas Eve EVE.

Just catchin' up with all the fun posts! You have such great traditions and a fun family! We consider the day BEFORE Christmas Eve as "Christmas Adam"…because Adam came before Eve! Happy New Year!
