Christmas Neighbor Gifts: Homemade Cookie Dough

November 17, 2014 | Uncategorized

This gift was A HIT! with our friends and neighbors.
I had Michelle over at Tipsy Graphics whip up my tags and you can order them HERE.

As for the containers – – there are all sorts of places you can find them online BUT….I found that the very cheapest place to get these – – was at my local grocery store in their deli department.  They use these for their SOUPS and sold them to me for 25 cents a piece!!!
Want a yummy cookie dough recipe to try?
Here’s the one I used:

MARCI COOMBS’ COOKIE DOUGH

1 c. brown sugar

1/2 c. white sugar

1 c. shortening {or butter}

2 eggs

1 tsp. vanilla

2 1/2 cup flour

1 tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. salt

Chocolate Chips and/or Holiday M&Ms

Mix first five ingredients together.

Add the remaining ingredients.

Set oven to 375 Degrees and cook on an

ungreased cookie sheet for 10-12 mintues.

You cannot go wrong with fresh cookie dough.
Because who DOESN’T LOVE hot cookies straight from the oven? {It’s sorta like my favorite thing in the world.}
