Last year’s ‘Neighbor Gifts’ came with a Will Ferrell twist.
{Seriously….how can you NOT love him? ESPECIALLY in the movie “Elf”. It’s pretty much the best thing ever.}
I whipped up some homemade syrup {scroll down for recipe} and Michelle at Tipsy Graphics made the labels.
Tied em up with ribbon and they were ready to go!!
Marci Coombs’ Homemade Syrup
{SERIOUSLY tasty with waffles and pancakes!}
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
1 cup water
1 cup corn syrup
1/4 tsp maple flavoring
3/4 tsp vanilla flavoring
Boil sugars and water together.
Add corn syrup and flavorings. Bring back to a boil for one more minute and then take off of heat.
*Side note: I used pint sized jars for these and one recipe made up 1 1/2 jars. If you’re making a lot of these, I would suggest quadrupling the recipe.
*Double Side Note: I LOVE this recipe because it DOES NOT need to be refrigerated. It can be kept in your pantry. AND…it’s super easy to make. AND….it’s super tasty.

It's really nice to see a gift guide where you're actually properly talking about the things you've picked out!
