Our annual Coombs family Christmas party was held last night and boy was it magical. Grandma Marilyn and Grandpa Scott really go ‘all out’. Here’s a taste of what it looked like:
Grandma always has the tables set SO pretty!
And her decorations are always just perfect!!
Kids table….having a ball!
Carson using his tortilla chips as ‘elf ears’. So clever, that Carson.
The kids stayed busy decorating Christmas trees out of sugar cones while the adults participated in a {mostly} cordial White Elephant game. {Sarah…you are one lucky girl!}
The kids acted out the nativity while Grandpa read from the scriptures.
The sassy diva started out as a sassy angel…
But then transformed into Mary, as we realized we had forgotten that part!
Mary and Joseph looking over baby Jesus aka baby Lincoln.
Children’s nativites are never really played out as reverently as we’d like. But man are they cute!
Angel June though had HAD ENOUGH.
Which meant…it was time for the talent show! My kids do not lack in confidence that is for sure.
Carson belted out a sweet rendition of “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer”
Grant showed off his sweet dance moves to “Party Rock”….his anthem.
And London followed suit jamming it out to Beyonce’s “All the Single Ladies”.
Santa dropped off his magical bag on Grandma and Grandpa’s doorstep. It was loaded with presents and goodies. Man our kids are lucky.
Grandma Marilyn sure knows how to throw a party. We look forward to it every year!!!
