Our Christmas day began bright and early at 6:30 am.
{Had it have been up to our kids – – it would’ve begun
at 4 am ๐.}
Santa filled the kids’ stockings with the usual sugary drinks and candy.
Carson was sent on a scavenger hunt to find his pet turtle – – he’s been wanting one of these for FOREVER!!!
The kids were pleased as punch with their presents as was Joe…
Did you ever see that one Goldberg’s epiosde where all Murray wanted was an extra large white towel?
Well, that was Joe.
Ask and ye shall receive!!
After opening presents we headed over my sister’s house for Christmas brunch.
Aren’t those white shiplap chargers the BEST?!?
While waiting for my nephew to Skype us from Barcelona…we died laughing at videos on Youtube of people falling down on ice.
{Yup – we have no soul.}
Seeing my nephew who is serving a mission in Spain was the highlight of our morning.
He was BEAMING he’s so happy there.
We are OH SO PROUD of him!
We headed home to let the kids play with their loot for a bit and then it was onto my parents house for Christmas dinner.
Yummiest dinner ever.
Ham off the bone, twice baked potatoes, broccoli cheese casserole, creamed corn, squash cinnamon casserole and not pictured….pretzel Jello salad, rolls and eggnog bundt cake.
The kids had their annual cousins gift exchange….
And my parents opened up their group gifts from us.
{Fun Fact: My dad is obsessed with Costco, hence the gift card. I’m pretty sure my parents go there at least 4 times a week. I’m not joking.}
We loaded up after dinner and headed to the movie theater to see…
YOU GUYS!!!!!!
IF YOU SEE ANY MOVIE THIS HOLIDAY SEASON….
SEE THIS ONE!!!!
It really was THE BEST.
The best message, the best music and the best dancing.
I would totally see it again!
Also worth noting for my locals:
The Chandler mall Harkins theater now has reclining seats and they are GLORIOUS!
Back to my parents house afterwards for dessert and one last game.
We laughed our heads off with this one.
It was the perfect way to end the day.
Christmas 2017 you did not disappoint!

I love this! It seems like a beautiful Christmas day! And random stalker comment, my husband and I talked about going to AZ this weekend on a whim (which unfortunately did not happen) but I dreamed that we met up for lunch and when we met I told you that I bought your house because I guess you were moving? So weird, haha!
Happy New Year, keep the awesome blog posts coming!
