Books we LOVE right now.

With it being Spring Break around here for the next two weeks, our family hit up our local library last week to stock up on good reading material. I still ~~make~~ like my kids to read for at least 20 minutes over the holidays to make sure they’re keeping their brain chugging.

{Because with all of the slushies and donuts they’ve been consuming as of late, they need SOMETHING good goin on up there! Chuckle.}

I LOVE getting books from the library.
It means we can PREVIEW things before actually spending money on them.
And as you know… Some books are a HIT. And others are a BIG miss.

Today I’m sharing with you a few of our VERY FAVORITE HITS
that we’ve just recently discovered.

Ella Kazoo Will Not Brush Her Hair

If you have a daughter like me, who is a teeny tiny bit of a HOT MESS when it comes time for me to brush her hair in the morning {and by HOT MESS, I mean, weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth!} then this book is for
YOU and YOUR DAUGHTER!!!

My daughter LOVED reading this book over and over again and again with me.
Now, when we brush her hair and she starts to throw a fit, I always say
‘Don’t act like Ella Kazoo, London!’ and she stops immediately.
She doesn’t want to be THAT girl.
{Lol. It really is a good eye opener for little kids
and OH SO FUNNY!}

Ponyella

This right here is your modern day Cinderella story.
And if you have a little one who LOVE horses and princesses…they will LOVE reading this book. It’s got a sweet story to it, too

Dog Breath

This book is totally HYSTERICAL!

{My boys have informed me that the author of this book is ALSO the same author who writes the Big Nate series..which they ADORE.}

This book is about a little dog named ‘Hally Tosis’ {that within itself is FUNNY!} and it’s owners doen’t know QUITE what to do with her stinky stinky breath!

This one was a hit with my sons AND daughter!

And last but not least…another cute little girly book….
