It’s not very often that I can make a meal and have ALL 3 kids snarf it down. My kids normally eat like little birds. But not today ladies and gentlemen. Thanks to my friend Tiffany and her YUMMY Noodle Bowl recipe….my kids FINALLY went to bed with their bellies full on food other than snacks and junk! Which is why it is a MUST that I share! So enjoy!
Beef Noodle Bowl
8 oz. linguine, uncooked
3 cups broccoli florets
3 medium carrots, peeled, sliced (about 2 cups)
2 tsp. oil
1 lb. beef sirloin steak, cut into strips
1/4 cup Italian Dressing
1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
1 tsp. ground ginger
COOK pasta as directed on package, adding broccoli and carrots to the cooking water for the last 2 min. of the pasta cooking time. Drain pasta mixture.
MEANWHILE, heat oil in large nonstick skillet. Add meat; cook until browned on all sides, stirring occasionally. Stir in dressing, teriyaki sauce and ginger; cook until sauce thickens, stirring occasionally.
TOSS pasta and meat mixtures in large serving bowl.Add peanuts for an extra crunch!
***Side Notes – I doubled the Italian Dressing and Teriyaki Sauce. I also cooked my noodles for 5 minutes and then added the veggies for 5-6 MORE minutes…I like my veggies more cooked than not.
