I may have shared this recipe before…but it’s worth repeating.
When you can’t find ground hamburger at the store, but there’s lots of ribs instead…it’s a WIN if you ask me.
This recipe is SOOOO easy, the majority of it is done in the crockpot and the ribs get SO tender, they practically fall right off the bone.
So here ya go – it’s super simple………
Get whatever kind of ribs you’ve bought and cut it into half so that it’ll fit into your crockpot. Salt and pepper it generously and then fill your crockpot about 1/4 full with apple juice. Cook those babies on high all day. HIGH! After they’ve cooked all day, take them out and place them on a greased cookie sheet. Baste them with your favorite bbq sauce {we always use Sweet Baby Rays!} and then stick them under the broiler for about 5 minutes, or until the get just a little crispy on top.
That’s it! I think the key is the apple juice. It gives it great flavor AND makes them tender.
