Banana Bread Recipe

March 18, 2020 | Recipes

All of this corona, stay at home stuff has put me in a baking mood!

And since I KNOW everyone has stocked up on bananas…I’m sharing with you my very favorite, super easy recipe for Banana Bread!

I whipped this up yesterday for the fam and it made our house smell divine.

Raise your hand if you think baking is therapuetic?

It was just what we all needed!

Marci Coombs Banana Bread

Mix together:

5 ripe bananas

3 eggs

1 tsp. vanilla

3/4 cup butter

Blend until smooth.

Add to mixture:

1 1/2 cups sugar

2 tsp. baking soda

3 cups flour

Mix well and then stir in chocolate chips.

{That’s the best part!}

Pour into 2 greased loaf pans and then sprinkle generously again with more chocolate chips.

Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.  Then reduce heat to 300 for an additional 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

If the tops of your bread are starting to brown but the middle isn’t quite done yet, just throw some tin foil on top and continue baking for a few more minutes!
