It’s one of my favorite times of the year….our annual trip to Southern Utah.
This place holds such a special place in my heart. Not only did I go to college in Cedar City at Southern Utah University….but my parents grew up here….and their parents are from here…and on and on and on. So many fun memories have been made and continue to be made here.
I pretty much found the perfect shirt for myself before we left and so I busted it out on day numer 1.
Grant got his drivers permit a few days before we left {help!} and so we’ve been letting him drive around the open roads up here. He’s actually doing…..VERY well with it. I’ve only shouted expletives a few times!
Speaking of my favorite expletive….London and I went into a couple of little boutiques here in Duck Creek and I found a sign that I LOVED!…..
I didn’t buy it because it was way too overpriced but I’ve GOT to make one for myself when we get back home, don’t ya think?
My brother busted out the ‘People of Walmart’ coloring books for us to color on while we’re here…
You guys, I’ve laughed WAY too hard at these.
We’ve already busted through a 500 AND 1,000 piece puzzle! Cabins are the BEST place for puzzles.
London’s been whipping up beaded bracelets for all of us. No explanation for the one she made me 😉
Joe and I were in charge of dinner that night and so we made our favorite – mexican food!
Once you get into the habit of making homemade refried beans…you never go back to the canned stuff.
The kids all ended the night with a pre sunset walk through the lava rocks…
Day 1 – – a nice and cool {it was 112 back home when we left} success!
