The weekends now are just weird.
Thank goodness for Sundays to still set things apart a little.
This weekend I…
busted out our Easter decor.
Easter decor makes me HAPPY and with all of this time that we are spending inside, it was the perfect timing.
I also updated the outside chalkboard sign by our front door. {I should’ve added Reese’s and donuts!}
I’ve been trying to limit my kids’ ‘online’ time but if you’re a mom…you can probably tell how that’s been going.
I’ve been baking up a storm. Anxiety baking, maybe. We’re all gonna be 500 pounds by the time this self quarantine thing is over. Baking is so therapeutic to me. Plus, I love the way it makes our house smell and I love how happy it makes my family.
London’s been busy entertaining us with her sidewalk art.
We introduced the kids to a classic on Saturday night…
I forgot how silly and funny this movie is!
Sunday….thank goodness for Sundays!…we held another Sacrament meeting in our home with just the 5 of us.
London was in charge of our special musical number, Grant gave a talk on the Restoration of the Gospel and Carson shared with us one of his favorite scriptures. It was just what our hearts have been needing.
I’ve been scouring through my favorite recipe books lately…
With all of this cooking at home, I’m in need of some NEW dinner recipes! I need to spice things up a little! I also had each of my kids go through these books and pick ONE dinner recipe that they wanted to learn how to make and we’ll do that this next week together. {So funny to see what they each chose!}
Joe and I started a new docuseries on Netflix.
I’m not sure I can recommend it yet though. It’s BIZARRE!
