This past weekend was a lot better than last weekend, I think mainly in part because of this divine treat…
Yup! Sodalicious has their pumpkin cream cheese snickerdoodle cookies back and they are a taste of heaven right in your very own mouth.
Afterwards, I headed over to the school and put up a new bulletin board for Hispanic Heritage month.
Why do I LOVE doing bulletin boards so much? Is that weird?
London found out on Friday afternoon that……she WON the student body election and is the new PRESIDENT of her elementary school!!!!!!
I don’t think she stopped BEAMING the entire weekend!! Treats were in order on Friday night and she chose Bahama Bucks. {Definitely not my favorite. But hey, I didn’t just win PRESIDENT of the school now did I?}
I was so exhausted from the day that come Friday night, I fell asleep on Joe’s lap watching 20/20. You KNOW I’m tired when I fall asleep watching a murder news show.
Saturday consisted of chores and running errands. The boys got some MUCH needed haircuts…
Whhhhhhhy must the always pose like this?
We shopped for new church clothes for Carson….
Seriously though… how on earth are you supposed to find a good pair of church pants when you CAN’T even try them on at the store?? Also, why are dress shirts SO complicated with their numbers and all? Can’t we just have a size small, medium or large? {Kidding/not kidding. I know that they measure the neck and sleeve length. But still. A teenager doesn’t need all that, right?}
Joe and I snuck off for a short little lunch date on Saturday afternoon.
I really haven’t found a sauce better than Raising Cane’s. Have you?? {And no…Joe does not always get this dressed up for our fancy dates on the outdoor patio of a fast food restauarnt. LoL. He had just come from a funeral. But doesn’t he look sharp?}
Joe took the boys to see the movie “Tenet” on Saturday night. {Whhhhy are there no good movies out at the theaters right now? Makes me sad because I haven’t been in FOREVER! P.S. They liked it.}
London and I stayed home and watched THE CUTEST new mystery movie on Netflix…
It was DARLING! We both LOVED it!!
Sunday morning breakfast consisted of these…
And they did not disappoint!! I would definitely recommend these puppies if you’re a pumpkin lover like myself.
We actually got to go back to church on Sunday!!!!! Like…at the actual church!!!! It was short and sweet and focused on the things that matter most and it was so great to be back. That said, I will always hold near and dear to my heart the memories that our family has made while having church at home. And truth be told…I have a feeling we may be asked to have church at home later again this year.
