These past few days on vacy-ay we’ve been:
Hiking.
And when I say ‘hiking’ please realize
that it was a very SHORT hike.
{Me+ long hikes do not go very well together}.
I think my dis-like of hiking is starting to rub off on London too – – Joe had to carry her the whole way back.
Man was it pretty though!
Lounging on our front porch, enjoying the breeze.
London with Uncle Kirk. |
Reading, Reading, Reading.
I started this book yesterday and I’m already in LOVE with the characters.
Such a SWEET sweet story.
Roasting Marshmallows & Making S’mores…
Joe found the need to teach the kids that when you fart around the campfire, you yell out ‘BEAR’ and blame it on the wilderness. The kids died laughing and each proceeded to squeek one out, just so that they could yell ‘BEAR’ at the top of their lungs.
Fun Fact: Reese’s PB cups on your s’mores are WAY better than Hershey’s bars.
Try it. Thank me later.
We visited one of the most
BEAUTIFUL places in the country: Cedar Breaks
Carson, however, is terrified of heights and kicked it on the bench while everyone else ooh-ed and aah-ed at the view.
Grandpa eventually bribed him with a Diet Coke and he crept his way over to the ledge.
{Diet Coke makes EVERYTHING better, right?}

Have you ever seen those ‘Awkward Family Photos’ like on cards or in books?
I swear I die laughing everytime I see one.
Well leave it to my sister to point out this family and their awkward-ness:
I have no idea who these people are but
I COULD NOT RESIST!
Naturally, some of our crew had to follow suit.
JUST to be funny {of course}.
