* I headed over to one of my favorite friends’ house for a little Visiting Teaching breakfast.
That Cream Brulee French Toast was as divine as it looked.
I’m getting the recipe this week {Judy – I NEED this!} and will share it with you later. It’s a make ahead the night before recipe – – and those are the BEST!
* Afterwards I ran some errands and headed home to spray paint my guts out….

This is SUCH a fun and unique little place tucked right back into the heart of downtown Chandler. It’s a definite must try.

* Saturday morning the kidlets and I headed to the movies.
I WON TICKETS!!!!
I never WIN anything {EVER!}…..and this week I just so happened to be the 14th caller into my fave radio station.
I won advanced screening tix to go see…
….and it was DARLING!
My kids have been seeing this preview for months and they were over the moon excited.
As an added bonus….
….it was in 3D.
I never pay extra for 3D movies so my kiddos were pumped.
Breakfast of Champions.
{Hey – at least it has ‘corn’ in it and corn is a veggie so…}
* To balance out my nutritious breakfast afterwards…we made a Cafe Rio run and I vowed I’d NEVER do that on a Saturday again.
If I didn’t love this salad so much – – I would not have waited.
But it was one of those things where you wait. And wait. And wait. And then you contemplate getting OUT of line….and then you think….gosh, I’m already so invested to this…it’d be a shame to miss out now…..so….45 minutes later, we ate.
* Saturday night we had all of the Joe’s fam over for a picnic at a park right by our house. We really have to soak in this nice weather before the summer heat hits.

So fun! and my kids came home pooped and ready for bed.
* I worked on orders for my Etsy shop.
LOVE making these little gems from home.
* Churchey-church on Sunday.
We sang THIS hymn in Sacrament and I was reminded of HOW MUCH I LOVE it!
{The line “Oh Savior, stay this night with me” – –
ALWAYS makes me cry}.
* Nap afterwards.
No interuptions either.
It was sort of like a Sunday miracle.
Pork Chops for dinner and then a fun friend surprised us with DESSERT afterwards!
