* Friday was the kids’ first official day of Christmas break.
To celebrate, we piled in the mini van and got breakfast at McDonalds. {Why is McDs breakfast SO MUCH BETTER than the rest of their menu?!}
* Afterwards, we picked up my nephew to babysit and I finished up ALL of my Christmas shopping.
{WaHoo!!}
* Friday night date night with some of our most favorite friends HERE:
We’ve been hangin with these peeps since before we all started having kids 10 years ago. It’s been SO fun growing old with them. {Smile}
* Saturday morning I ran errands with my Carson.
I sure love spending ONE on ONE time with my kiddos.
I feel the need to let you know that I filled up for gas at $1.16 per gallon on Saturday.
{Thank you Fry’s points for the $1 off!!}
Can’t beat it!
* Saturday night we celebrated my nephew’s 17th Birthday with dinner at Joe’s Farm Grill.
Cute Lamoreaux cousins. |
Their Peppermint shake?
YUMMMM. It’s a must try if you stop by over the holidays.
* I spent the rest of the evening preparing a talk for church that I had to give the next day. {Bleh}.
* Churchey-church on Sunday.
* We stopped by my brother’s new house afterwards to check out his new digs.
Fun Fact: My siblings + my parents + I all live within about 10 minutes of each other. So grateful, indeed!
{Most of the time….haha…I kid…I kid.}
* Chicken tacos for dinner + watching the AZ Cardinals game Sunday night.
