* Friday morning started out with a dr’s checkup for Grant.
We met up with Joe afterwards for a quick breakfast HERE.
Nothin like chips and salsa in the morning time, right?๐
{Us Coombs could eat it any time of they day.}
Their breakfast burritos are a MUST.
* Grant and I swung by my favorite local bakery…
…to pick up some treats for some people before bringing him back to school.
*Grant had a basketball game on Friday night.
He was pretty much on fire and scored a total of NINE points!
Afterwards, we let him pick a place {any place!} that he wanted to go and get dessert.
He chose….
…the local gas station that just opened up right by our house.
๐ณ
Seriously.
I was thinking…Baskin Robbins, Dairy Queen, Sonic….
but the gas station it was!
* Saturday morning we woke up bright and early to go over and help clean our church building.
I’m not gonna lie – – I dreaded waking up EARLY on a Saturday. But I felt OH SO GOOD afterwards about the service we rendered for our beautiful church.
We are SO blessed to have such a wonderful building to go to each week.
* Chores, chores, chores on Saturday afternoon followed by date night for Joe and I.
So super bummed. We had planned to go and see the movie ‘Lion’ and when we got there, the show was ALL SOLD OUT.
Granted, we could’ve tried another theater but….
it was 50 degrees outside and rainy and I was way too freezing to try it again. {I know, I’m a wimp!}
We settled for dinner at BJs and their dessert mint chocolate chip pazookie almost made up for the fact that we didn’t get to see our movie.
YuM!
* Churchey-church on Sunday.
It was just the spiritual uplift I needed.
In Relief Society, our teacher showed THIS short little video and of course I cried like a baby.
It was all aboutFaith.
Such a difficult at times thing yet such a NECESSARY action needed in life.
