* Friday morning I woke up to this…
Joe had left for work and somehow these two yayhoos made it into my bed and mad their selves at home {pulling off my sheets while doing so!}
* The kids worked on chores…
{We really need to green up our grass!}…
And then treats afterwards for National Donut Day at
Krispy Kreme.
Here’s the thing…
I’m still not a fan of Krispy Kreme.
I figured…’Hey! It’s FREE! Let’s go!’
but
they didn’t even serve them HOT!
Totally disappointed.
Free AND all.
{Locals: Bosa is still way better.}
* My sweet little nieces came over Friday afternoon…
We swam and swam and then the girls came back to spend the rest of the day and night!
We LOVE having cousins live so close by!
* Saturday we swam some more over at our friends’ house.
We gotta get all of our swimming in before it gets too hot here. Yes, there is a thing in AZ where it gets TOO HOT to swim and the water feels like bath water.
Our friend’s adorable Golden Doodle doggie just had the most ADORABLE puppies last week and so we ooh’d and aah’d at them after we were done swimming.
There are EIGHT and they are SO scrumptious.
* Date night Saturday night.
We picked up a quick bite in the Phoenix ‘hood at Carolina’s…
The sign of a GOOD burrito? Or a BAD burrito?
The last few times I’ve been here have been mediocre.
My husband thinks saying that is blasphemous because he SWEARS by this place!
{I will give them credit where credit is due…they are consistently voted ‘Best Tortillas’ in the Valley, so there’s that.}
Afterwards, we headed over to the Orpheum to see….
My very favorite comedian of ALL time…
RYAN HAMILTON!!!
Our friends just happened to have a couple of extra tickets and invited us and I was SUPER giddy!
If you have not yet seen his Netfix special “Happy Face” go and watch it right this minute! I die!
* Churchey-church on Sunday.

Week 2 of Summer Break is underway.
This week we have NO dance and NO schedules.
We are pretty excited about it!
We’ve already been swimming once today and are about to go again!
We LOVE Ryan Hamilton too!! We have seen him perform so many times Haha. Now that he's way more popular he's out of our cheapo price bracket 😂
