* Saturday morning we packed up the car and headed to southern Utah for the week. My side of the family has a yearly tra-dish of spending the week of 4th of July up in the mountains in cooler temps at a cabin. We look forward to it all year long.
One of my favorite parts of vacation is actually having the time to READ. I started…
…but sadly I stopped reading it.
I was bummed – because it was pretty funny.
It was the language that turned me away.
I’ve heard the F word so many times in my life and it still make me cringe. There’s just something about it.
This book had a lot of it so I’m starting a new one today.
We stopped at our very favorite cookie joint along the way.
Their LEMON SUGAR COOKIES have my heart.
I MUST find the recipe to replicate these STAT.
We arrived at the cabin 8 hours later, unpacked, opened up the windows to feel the breeze {something we can’t do in AZ right now!} and started on a 550 piece puzzle.
* Sunday was our annual Lamoreaux Family reunion.
This is when my dad’s brothers and their families come up and we bbq and laugh our heads off together.

We feel so blessed to get to do this each year.
Familes are Forever and I’m sure grateful for mine!
We go usually a year without seeing all of these relatives of ours and we always seem to just pick up where we left off.
My cousin brought up his Razor and the kids had fun riding around in it.
London came back with ‘Granny’ hair it was SO dusty!
😂
Once everyone left for the evening we finished the day with games….anyone remember Husker Du?
Carson gave the day 2 thumbs up!
And I couldn’t agree more!

We are heading to Utah today and I’m literally panicking that it’s going to be 100 degrees!!!! Lol
I love when family gets together and memories are made!!
Oh and I am exactly the same with the F word, I just can’t handle it
