* The kids played on and on with their Christmas presents.
And on and on.
LOVE when they play contently inside our home.
* Friday night they had a sleepover at my sister’s house.
They were on CLOUD 9 with their Foster cousins.
Joe and I took advantage of the evening and went out to dinner HERE.
{Fun fact: I really hate seafood. BUT…..since Joe always complains that he never gets to eat it, and he LOVES it, I took one for the team and bought him a gift certificate to a seafood restaurant for Christmas.
If that’s not TRUE LOVE I don’t know WHAT is!?!}
* Afterwards, we went and saw….

Which we both ADORED!
{Besides the fact that the dude sitting next to me was sick with a cold and kept wiping his nose with his hands and then rubbing his hands on his pants to get the boogers off. Ga-RoSSSS!!!}
Mary Poppins is HANDS DOWN one of my very favorite movies of all time.
This movie did not disappoint!
* Saturday Joe golfed with my dad, while the kids and I
kicked it at home all day.
I cleaned out my pantry and organzied all of the recipes I’ve printed out from Pinterest the past few years. {It’s only been on my to-do list for forever it seems!}
* We got to go and visit Joe’s cute sister, her husband and her brand new baby at the hospital on Saturday night.

Welcome to the world Trudy!
{Is she not the cutest little muffin ever? Those cheeks!!!}
* Sunday…..ohhhh Sunday.
Churchey-Church.
And here’s where the BIG NEWS comes in….
I got released from my church calling as Young Womens President.
Siiiiggghhhhhhhhhh.
Such mixed emotions about all of this.
I’ve been serving in that position for going on 3 years now.
THREE!
I have come to love and adore ‘my girls’ SO SO much.
Each girl has been such a HUGE part of my life for the past few years.
Their testimonies have strengthened MY testimony.
They will forever be apart of me…..and for THAT…
I am incredibly BLESSED!
I knew though…with serving for that amount of time…that this day would someday come.
Being Young Womens President is A LOT of work.
It consumes MOST {if not ALL} of your extra time.
Mutual, lessons, firesides, Girls Camp, tending to the girls’ needs….it is CONSTANT.
And while I have LOVED every minute of it…..
I am at peace with this big change in my life right now.
{Even though yes….I sobbed my way through my final Young Women’s meeting today.}
Life goes on.
{They’ve called me to be the primary pianist now which I am giddy about! How could I NOT LOVE doing that? Gosh, ANYTHING after being Young Womens president should seem like a walk in the park, right?}
My blog WILL go on!
{Smile}.
I have gotten so much LOVE and so many sweet comments with ALL of the young womens posts I have done throughout the years. There are so many good people out there. I am excited to actually GROW and EXPAND my blog now. To spend time being MORE creative!!! I am excited for what I might be able to do now with this little ‘ole blog of mine and with all the extra time I’ll have on my hands.
And of course, I will still be posting church ideas galore.
And I’ll still be PINNING church ideas {as well as other fun ideas} galore as well.
{Follow me on Pinterest HERE.}
My faith is a HUGE part of who I am.
I thank my lucky stars each day for the knowledge of the Gospel that I have.
I look forward to what the future has in store for me now.
I hope you’ll enjoy the ride with me!!!
xoxo
Blessed Indeed!

I loved serving in young women's. Thank you for all your cute blogs post, we used several of your ideas for things we did. They put me in the RS presidency, counselor over homemaking . So, when you said you got a new calling I was hoping it was in the RS so you could keep sharing fun ideas for RS sisters. Enjoy your calling in Primary you will love it.

I remember once I was released I found that I couldn't quite accomplish as much as I did while in the calling. Not sure if it was so busy so I had to be "on the ball" at all times or what but it's always bittersweet when one makes a change in callings.
